Q: What is the deadline to close out for the month?

Installations not submitted in an invoice by the end of the month will automatically roll over into the next reporting period.

Q: What if a Project Sponsor fails to request pre-approval on multi-family installations?

AEP will not consider payment of installations when pre-approval has not been granted prior to installation.

Q: What if a Project Sponsor did not notify AEP of it's work schedule for multi-family projects seven (7) days prior to installation?

AEP will not consider payment of installed measures when a work schedule has not been provided prior to installation.

Q: What if a Project Sponsor failed to submit the required a) property description of the duct system and b) method used to qualify the ducts, prior to installing duct efficiency measures for multi-family projects?

AEP will not consider payment of installed measures when the property description or the method of testing has not been provided prior to installation.

Q. How does a project sponsor determine if a customer is eligible to participate in the SOP?

The project sponsor should verify with the property owner (customer) that they are an electric distribution service customer of one of the AEP utility companies. The ESID number can be found on the electric utility bill. The eight and ninth numbers identify the company:

    94 = TCC

    96 = SWEPCO

    97 = TNC
