Program Summary

The Residential Standard Offer Program (RSOP) was developed to provide incentives to suppliers of energy services for the installation of qualifying energy efficiency measures at TNC residential customers' facilities. The primary objective of this program is to achieve cost-effective reduction in peak summer demand.

TNC will enter into contracts for peak demand and energy savings with "project sponsors" who are typically energy efficiency service firms such as air conditioning contractors, insulation installers, lighting contractors or national energy service companies. Program details can be found in our program manual, which can be downloaded via the left menu bar by clicking on Program Manual or from our Downloads/Tools page.
